Renae Nonaka
Owner, Violin, Viola
Ms. Renae started this studio (a childhood dream) in 2018. Her expertise includes 20 years of violin, and over 15 years of teaching both violin and viola. Ms. Renae’s passion for music started from an early age surrounded by music and later would use her instruments to escape from the troubled world around her.
Outside of the studio, Ms. Renae enjoys crocheting, knitting, reading, and a good can of Pepsi.
David Wu
Piano
With over 16 years of music practice, David brings both skill and passion to his teaching. David patiently guides each child to discover the joy and beauty of music. Outside of music, David enjoys a variety of sports.
Konnor Kruse
Piano
With over 13 years of piano teaching experience and started playing music in fourth grade, Konnor patiently teaches structured piano lessons with fun teaching techniques. He loves to exercise in his free time and play on the worship team at his church.

- While most of our students are children, we also enjoy teaching our adult students
- What age do you recommend starting lessons?
- Our teachers recommend starting lessons between the ages of 5-7 years old, but it is never too late to start!
- How far in advance do I need to book?
- We prefer having a week to prepare for a new student, but we allow lessons to be booked as short as 24 hours in advance.
- What happens when we go on vacation?
- Let our office or your teacher know that you will not be home and one of your unpaid absences will be used.
- Are there any performance opportunities?
- Yes! Our students get to showcase and celebrate their growth twice each year. You can find more details on our recital page.
- We have several students who have auditioned and been accepted in the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra.
