Children of today could use a beacon of hope to help them embrace their greatness, thrive through challenges, and go after their dreams, so we’ve developed a fresh, vibrant style of teaching piano, violin, and viola that combines the Suzuki method with our distinct RAE of Sunshine approach that:

R = Radiates contagious joy and enthusiasm for music and life

A = Adapts to each child’s individual needs and ability so they can learn and excel without judgment

E = Encourages a growth mindset (love of challenge, belief in effort, openness to feedback, resilience in the face of setbacks, connection of effort to progress and success)

At Rae of Sunshine Music, we are committed to giving quality individual music lessons with the convenience of being taught in your own home and one of our teachers drives to you. This allows you the freedom to spend more time with your family and less driving all over creation to meet everyone else’s schedule. We have also found that our younger students are more relaxed and learn better in the comfort of their own home versus a strange small studio room. We are currently offering piano lessons in Kewanee, IL and piano, violin, and viola lessons in the Fox Valley Area. As a result of working with our teachers, children acquire greater love and joy of music and are more willing to put time and effort into practicing. Therefore, not only do their musical talents thrive but they also experience:
